Templates sound like templates, reviews sound like people
POV, you finally found the app that. Stop scrolling if. Everyone has seen them, nobody watches past them. Your reviews are full of better lines because they were written by people who meant them: I asked my dad to find Kazakhstan, it went badly. That is a hook, and it came from a five star review. The Content agent's first job is reading, not writing.
TikTok is a search engine, so the hook carries the query
TikTok search volume grew around 40 percent year over year and a growing share of app discovery starts with someone typing best sleep sounds app into TikTok. The platform sells that intent directly through Search Ads with automatic search placement. For organic content the consequence is simple: the first line and the caption should contain the phrase people search, and the video should answer it in the first three seconds. A hook that stops a scroll but says nothing searchable is half a hook.
Google Play is bringing the same format into the store with Play Shorts, a full screen video feed in the Apps tab, US first. The videos you make for TikTok are the videos that will play there.
Before writing hooks, list the twenty phrases people search on TikTok around what our app does, from TikTok's own search suggestions in our top three countries. Every hook must contain one of those phrases in the first line or the caption.
The method the agent follows
Read the last 200 reviews and comments. Copy every sentence with a specific detail: a person, a number, a place, a moment. Turn each into a first line under ten words. Then write three beats: the setup in the first three seconds, the turn at about eight seconds, the payoff by fifteen. The caption asks the question the hook implied and repeats the search phrase. Post one a day, TikTok first, then Reels and Shorts, and read every comment, because the comments are the next hooks.
From our last 200 reviews and comments, copy every sentence with a specific detail. Write ten hooks under ten words from those sentences, each carrying a TikTok search phrase. For each: three beats with timestamps at 0, 3 and 8 seconds, a caption that repeats the phrase, and the review it came from. Schedule one a day. Answer every comment within hours and add the ones with a specific detail to next week's hook list.
Ten hooks from one game
Name the country before the pin drops. My geography teacher would not survive level 12. I asked my dad to find Kazakhstan, it went badly. Flag quiz, but you lose a life for every wrong tap. Can you place Chad without looking, nobody in my house could. The capital of Australia is not Sydney and this app made sure I never forget. Four people, one iPad, no mercy. Where is Bhutan, you have five seconds. I learned every African capital on one commute. Ranked mode against my brother ended our friendship.
Seven of those ten came straight out of reviews. The other three came from comments under the first posts, which is the content loop doing its job.
Post daily, then let the winners pay and rank
After two weeks you know which three earned watch time. Those three become Spark Ads when you have a budget, the phrase in them becomes a TikTok Search Ads placement, and the words in them go into the screenshot captions, because captions are indexed on the App Store since 2025 and because they are also the words people search. The same three videos are the creative for Google App Campaigns with a custom store listing per campaign. One reading of the reviews feeds four surfaces.
After 14 days, rank the hooks by watch time and shares. For the top three: propose them as Spark Ads with a daily cap, propose a Search Ads placement on the phrase inside each, rewrite screenshot captions one to three around the same words, and mark them as creative for Google App Campaigns. Show me the proposal with numbers before anything runs.
